The fruits are green in colour but when matured it becomes brown in colour. As it belongs to coniferous species, the seeds of the fruits are outside of it. Seeds are tiangle in shape.
We provide always greenish brown seeds so that it can be germinated well. A careful and mature hand is required to get it germinated.
Germination procedure:
- Firstly prepare bed with clean dry sand.
- Soak the seeds for atleast half an hour before placing on bed.
- The sharp side of the seed should be put on the bed. The half portion of the seed should be out of the bed.
- Sprinkle the fungicide mix water over it and keep the pot on polly house.
- Remember to get germinated Araucaria needs too much heat. So polly house is required.
