Fir Pine is commonly known as Abies coniferous. It is a medium sized coniferous evergreen tree, reaches upto 30 to 35 meters. The foliage grows scale-like in dense sprays, dark green in colour. It is widely cultivated as ornamental plant. It can grow in almost all weather.
The seeds are dark grey in colour. In industrial section, oil is extracted from seeds and is used in cosmetics.
